There are many famous management schools in North America, England, Continental Europe and the Australian and New Zealand areas. Some people spend a small fortune on travel and boarding expenses to attend business schools outside their home country. In truth, there is really no reason to do so. As long as a business management course covers the basic material, leading to either a degree or certificate, remaining at home for management training is actually preferable.

In politics, as like finance, things can often get a little dicey. If you are building your name or your wealth by doing one thing while stating another, it won’t be long before you are skating on thin ice, and having some issues. If you think your city is immune from the blight of politicians greasing both sides of the tracks, you are being rather naive.

You can look at virtually any political race in the states, and see what the effect of these decisions can be. Take the case of Sandra Stoppa, the woman who is currently running for office in the state of Illinois. Her voting record seems to indicate that she votes for republican values on many issues, but she is running now as a democrat. Is this going to help the voters of this state to get a straight story? Probably not.

But this does not stop at the state level, for there are federal offices being held by people who said one thing to claim the election, but now seem to act in a completely different manner. Look to the banking crises, the worldwide inflation and the rise of class separation.

The point is, in finance as in politics, you need to play it straight – you need to walk the walk as well as talking the talk. Anything less is a recipe for failure.

You may not realise it but Spain use to benefit from very steady and continuous growth. This started around 1980. Since then they have gone from strength to strength. One of their biggest banks Santander even bought out Abbey a large UK high street bank.

Spain at the moment is the 9th largest economy on the globe. Their wealth came about because they modernised their infrastructure and deregulated the economy from the old way of Franco.

A big earner for Spain was always their tourist industry. Many Brits have purchased houses in Spain on Golf resorts and other ex pat housing estates. All of this meant gave huge growth to the Spanish economy.

Unfortunately the recession which started in 2008 has hit Spain very hard. Many people are now out of work and unemployment levels are rising. Spanish job sites such as Trabajo Barcelona have seen large rises in traffic figures over the past year.

One of the job sectors hit hardest was the construction industry. This was a booming sector which employed many people including many immigrants.

Spain has seen a large increased in immigrants from both Spanish speaking South American countries as well as Eastern European countries due to their thriving economy.
